City of Angels, I'm not done with You.

It's a chilly morning in London and my bags are tight packed for sunny surf paradise Tarifa! The-southest-you-can-go in Spain, and the one of my still not reachable destinations till now! Woohooo! Buut - just before I crash down there (and finally kiss my love after 3 weeks) shall we say I kinda have this funny feeling in my stomach? The project we did in Los Angeles (tell you more about that in next posts!) and the whole experience - the vibe, the people, the caaaliforniaaaa ... was to-die-for fabulous!!!
So presumably I'll be back some day soon ... I mean, how can I not be?? Right, Shia? ;)

Yo, Rock Rockin Rockstar!

Interestingly, the year 2009 has proven to be some year to rocking remember! If anyone would told me last year at this time that I will be in 09 excepted to postgraduate study of photography at famous Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London AND that I will be actually going to Los Angeles to take photos of the real legends AND that someone will make a MOVIE about me - I would just smile (and roll my eyes). But I'm pinching my hand: it is all f**king happening ...

I was told yesterday by a guy I never met before I'm a rising star and that I should ride my bike like tomorrow never comes. Oh, don't worry, I will - although for now I'll keep my feet on the ground while stick my eyes on the road: and when I'll see a green light - trust me, I'll hit the gas like there is no tomorrow ...

If You Only Knew ...

And "hellooo" to all my wonderful readers! A quick update: I'm now at the last stage of advertising project I was directing for the past two months. Let me tell you I'm thrilled that soon I'll again sleep normal, gain some weight, smoke less and party more! ;)
If I say million incredible things happened in between - trust me - million magical, blissful things happened! So imagine myself in a state of euphoria though yet still I can't tell you what's behind the red curtains ... it's for now a top secret.

But you know how it is with secrets - they are made to be found out with time ...

Happy, Happy, Happy

“Dreams are like stars ... you may never touch them, but if you follow them they will lead you to your destiny.” What would we be without our dreams? I'm talking about daydreams, fantasies, desires ... I bet you have some serioooous dreams that are making you high on life, and oh, yeah - so do I! So for the last couple of months I had this daydream I am in the London's Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design at the interview where the staff of Postgraduate Photography are checking on my Portfolio and they are amazed by my photos and my presentation. That was my dream. I will tell you something and listen to me very carefully: dreams do come true BUT you have to dream them hard.

So I was applying to the CSM on January this year and then after waiting and waiting for THE letter I was three weeks ago finally invited for the interview on 14th of May at the head of Central Saint Martins. I came back from London two days ago and yes, I was busy working on my Portfolio before that and that's why I had absolutely no time for you guys. And now I shall be brutally honest with you ... before the moment I sat down that chair in that studio where the interview was held - I was a complete nightmare breathing deeply remembering what yoga teacher said I should do whenever I find myself almost dying of nervousness. Thank god Manca was doing her magic there (I never in my life needed my dear friend so much - which I didn't see 6 months!) and Haidy (who actually came with me to London to shot the scenes for her documentary about me) ... well, both girls was there encouraging me big time because otherwise someone was about to pee in her pants. Or fainted. Or at least forgot her name.

I tell you there's been some shit loads of adrenalin situations in my life, but I guess this before-the-CSM-interview beats them all. The clock was ticking ... and ticking. (Imagine me walking up and down the hallway with that yoga breathing.) Then it happened - finally I was asked to walk into that room by the course leader and ... you know what I did? I set down and I pulled myself together. That's right. I suddenly was confident and excited to tell them my story, and I believed I had a great story ... and a beautiful portfolio to present them, too. And thanks to David Lynch (again) the interview went just GREAT. It was actually a dream came true interview. They even showed me around the school! Yeah, that felt like a million bucks. I was so happy afterwords I was screaming, hugging my friends and jumping up and down the Charing Cross Road. And then I invited my girls for some nice beer(s) in ol' London town ... and I wanted to have a picture of us together to remember that happy moment for the rest of my life.

photo by Manca S. (23 London Express)

p.s. I also would like to say thanks to Anna big time, Jernej, Aleš, Grega, Metka, Petra, Matic, Davorka, Mojca, Jakob, Peter ... and everyone else who helped me to post a happy happy happy title of this post.

David Lynch was right, AGAIN

Dear friends, the rocks started to melt. I just wanted to say thank you for all of your support - for being there for me, and to believe in my dream.

Hear me? Yeees, I'm saying this to you, you, you!!! :)

And for the reward you are so good to me now you go ahead and have sex with this magical song - like me and Anna are doing while working on my magical Portfolio - as we speak! ;)

Masturbation and Stuff in Between

The story goes like this: first, you dress up and there's a pre-party, then you rush out to the insane underworld party, few hours later the birds are about to wake up and you're at this afterparty (@unknown location) - but then what's next? What exactly is on your mind? I'll give you a hint: at grand finale we all want to end it up between the sheets, don't we??
Or ... there's maybe something else there? Do enlighten me ...

Behind The White Scenes of 'Some Thing'

Holding hands was sweet, kissing even more, but making love was THE BEST THING EVER!

Yeah, you wish!!! ;)

In case you're wondering what the heck is going on here, you should imagine that nothing is like it seems - forget 'relax' - nothing was under control in this a.k.a. bedroom of post afterparty heaven! On that Tuesday when I organized the shooting for the final 'Intosomething' K4 flyer, previous night I was still on the trip from ex -Yugoslavia and I was nothing less then dead tired from the brutal lack of sleep, body hurting & deeply stressed out when I find out one of my models had to cancel the shoot in the last minute, and last but not least - because there was the Big Brother a.k.a. Haidy behind the video camera watching every step I made!
BUT luckely, I had all the right people around me again, and I had my Vision. My vision about the shot was pure & clear: everybody loves everybody at the end of the good party. Gender-free love. The ultimate White fantasy. The sexual heat bettween boys & girls. Nothing is forbidden and nothing is taboo - and this is how my dream cames true. (Fak, to se rima!!:))
And yes, together we made it, the final result is not bad at all: in fact - it's pure heaven! (You'll see it soon!) So, while in and out was kaos in white, the switched off fuse, the baloons, the plastic, the white fabrics, hens, the sheets, the naked bodys, - but please, who can really feel cranky with that smell of passion all over the place? (The passion for a good photo is just like the make out before really good sex.) And there was mr. White Rabbit, of course. The only one who was in control. All the time. And only he knows what was really going on there ... but if you'll ask him, he'll probably just say: "It was Some Thing(s)" ... yez, he's that cool. ;)

So, this is the beggining ... a little sneak preview of behind the scenes of "SOME THING", only a taste of it. Buahahaha, I'm teasing you, but you know you want it. You want it soooo bad!!

Nineteen74

Imagine the scene: it’s the year 2222, centuries into the future. Vogue doesn’t exist, neither does Armani, London is war-torn as an army of fashion creatives move forward to make a new mark on the world. “The Next Generation” if you will, the breed of unknown talent set for the future, the ones to watch for in years to come.

They got me with this one! I joined the fashion army of Nineteen74.com, a professional networking web site that links people in the fashion industry from around the world. I will let you know when some revolution takes place ...

A cigarette in a backstage.

Let me squeeze this as a little sneak overview of Bitola Fashion Week that was going on last week in Macedonia. First let me cry about the fact I didn't get the chance to lay my hands on the fashion magazine where my photo of the Unsuitable Farmgirl was published on their cover (yes, second international cover!) - but I hope that we still get that copy, right, Davorka?:)
However, the scene was still quite some fun! I suppose one of the highlights was the gorgeous make up Tinka Pobalinka did on W&S models. (Must note here, I was helpful too - I personally assisted her preparing the eyelashes from the white hen, haha!) And the other highlighting fact was being able to smoke in the backstage while waiting for models to get ready! Okaj, even if it was not the fabuuuulous NY all over the place at least I had lots of Mad Man moments in the ex Yuga!;)
But get ready for this: my ultimate winner of Bitola fashion week experience was that we discovered that some Macedonian models uses glue for their protruding ears for the catwalk!! (UHO lepilo, anyone?) Yes, they actually do that and it's not even a big deal to them! How about that??

So, cheers to cigarettes at the backstages BUT the protruding ears with no glue, please! And another wish: the fashion backstages all around the globe should have a huge bar of free gin tonic and a bag of chips for everybody! ;)

"This is Macedonian Bronx"

Of course I made tones of crazy photos when W&S crew was visiting the gypsy village in Macedonia this week ... but due to my extreme lack of time (again working on 5 different projects at once) I just wanted to share this amazing gypsy boyz gang from tha hood.
What you see is not them posing, this is just them the way they are - the ultimate essence of the gypsy boys community ... God, I'm so excited I can't even write!!!

Stay with me, more will come soon!!
